MERIDA and CARACAS... al fin y el cabo!Venezuelan hightlights include... going rappelling down waterfalls with my new mate Bjorn (true blue South African who did Sandman's special effects on the recent Spiderman3 movie...) after 36 hour marathon in bloody cold buses to get from east to west, we wasted no time in orgainizing the most excellent day excursion down one of the waterfall laden rivers and finishing off a good day of adventure with an action packed weekend being shown around the night and day life of Merida by two local ladies. All good, and I reckon that little lady that drove us up into the mountains can go apply for her F1 or James Bond stunt double card..!Going hiking with mate Chris round Merida, we hike, did the longest cable car in South America up to 4700m and spend quality time in hammocks and eating pizza. Tough life, but I cut the relaxation short to spend the last couple of days with good friend Enrique from Global Village 2002 in Caracas.
Enrique showed me a great time for my last night in South America... we had a most excellent barbeque, his family was hospitable as all hell *his mom gave me two bags of flour to backpack around as a farewell present / bless her* and we watched the sun come up with some of the local lovelies. A good climax to an awesome time in South America.

Am now back in Guatemala spending quality time with my family, who I haven' t seen for almost a year... counting down to Global Village 2007 in a most excellent way!
